President, Psychotherapist
Colin Jamron (LMHC)
Colin is a licensed mental health counselor (LMHC-D) with a MA degree from New York University. Colin has over 13 years experience working in both inpatient and outpatient settings. He has helped clients address issues such as depression, anxiety, and managing life transitions through the use of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) as well as other techniques utilized to bring about his clients' desired outcomes.
Starting therapy can be difficult. In fact, it is often a courageous act. Colin recognizes the importance of what it means to take that step and will take the time to answer your questions, explore your options, and really get to know you in order to provide the best experience possible. Together, change is possible.

You may be managing a great deal on the outside while privately feeling anxious, discouraged, disconnected, or unsure of yourself. Perhaps you are moving through a difficult transition, questioning a relationship, struggling with self-confidence, or finding that familiar patterns are no longer working for you. Therapy can provide the space to slow down, understand what is happening beneath the surface, and reconnect with your own needs, strengths, and sense of direction.
My approach is warm, engaged, and collaborative. I draw from relational and psychodynamic therapy, CBT, DBT, and motivational interviewing, tailoring our work to your individual needs. Together, we may explore the experiences and relationship patterns that have shaped you while also developing practical ways to manage difficult emotions, communicate more clearly, establish boundaries, and move toward achievable goals.
Beginning therapy can feel vulnerable, especially when you are accustomed to handling things on your own. I aim to make the process feel approachable, thoughtful, and genuinely useful. Our work can help you develop a stronger connection with yourself, greater confidence in your choices, and more meaningful relationships with others.
A Brooklyn Beginning
Brooklyn Well-Being was founded by Colin Jamron, LMHC in 2025. Colin has lived in Brooklyn, NY for over 20 years and has practiced as a therapist since 2011. He has a deep connection to the culture and values that make Brooklyn unique, having completed his undergraduate studies at Brooklyn College and graduate studies at NYU.
New Yorkers think differently. Unique personalities require personalized support. As a result, Colin set out to create a therapy practice that would reflect the diversity and spirit that understands and meets the needs of New Yorkers and beyond.
Whether you’re building something of your own, balancing passion with practicality, or trying to find steadier ground amid the creative hustle, this space was created with you in mind. Rooted in Brooklyn’s independent spirit, our therapists offer thoughtful, clinically grounded support to help you stay connected to yourself while pursuing what matters most.
